This is a review of the movie "The Shawshank Redemption". It is an award-winning movie based on the John D. MacDonald novel. In the movie, a total of four main characters - Red, Andy, Jimmy and Larry - are imprisoned in Shawshank Prison and have to cooperate to survive the hardships of their prison sentence.
For starters, each of them has a "time-off" at which they escape from the prison. They do this in different ways, but one way or another they somehow manage to escape. When they finally get out of their prison, they find that life outside of prison has changed completely.
One of the things that makes Shawshank such a tough place to survive in is the fact that your fellow inmates will really not let you off easy. You will always have to work hard to keep yourself alive. If you want to find love, you have to get yourself into a relationship with another inmate and also help them out.
The movie doesn't contain any type of "flashy" visuals that other movies have. It just shows you what it takes to survive in prison, and how hard it is to live there. In a way, The Shawshank Redemption is more like a documentary than a movie. It is real life as it is seen by an outsider.
The movie is so realistic that some people even feel that they may be able to relate to some of the situations that are depicted in the movie. What sets this movie apart from the rest is the fact that each character, the only characters, has a full human voice. No one is ever portrayed as being evil, uncaring or stupid.
There is also no talk of any type of jail time, whether this be a time-offprogram or a real prison sentence. In fact, the only time that you will ever see someone in jail is when they are in jail. There is no mention of why a person is in jail, except for the fact that they are, and someone is looking for them.
The movie is very entertaining, and as I said before, can be quite realistic. For example, it is only a matter of time before Andy and Red get into an argument, and it is a long and drawn out one. This is a great way to show how different types of people are able to communicate and disagree without violence or shouting. The Shawshank Redemption is a movie that can be watched by anyone of any age.
I believe that this movie would be very successful if it were made into a movie. Even with all of the things that I have said above, I think that it still holds up as a very good movie.
